Getting Started with the Entitlement Manager

To get started with Entitlement Manager, complete the guided setup and add schedules to file servers.

Procedure

  1. Complete the guided setup for File Storage Optimization, and when you add a file system data source, choose to analyze data from source (live) data.

    If you added file system data sources in Sensitive Data Governance and chose to analyze data from source data, those data sources are also available in Entitlement Manager.

  2. To keep the information in Entitlement Manager up-to-date, add schedules to the file servers that you added for Entitlement Manager.

  3. Review the permissions assigned to files and folders.
