In a managed service provider (MSP) environment, you can simplify configuration for tenant administrators by linking storage with the access node, the sync database details, and the Salesforce consumer key and the Salesforce consumer secret stored in Credential Manager. Use the linked storage on a server plan that you create to back up Salesforce data.
When tenant administrators add a Salesforce app in Commvault and select the server plan that is associated with the linked storage, the Salesforce consumer key and the Salesforce consumer secret are automatically entered for tenants who access Salesforce with OAuth. The access node and the details for the sync database are automatically entered for all tenants.
