Performing a Database Log File Backup

Applies to: MySQL, PostgreSQL

You can back up the database log files.

The Commvault software performs the backup operation on the database group that is configured for the log files.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The Instances page appears.

2. In the Actions column for the instance, click the action button , and then click Incremental.

   The Confirm backup dialog box appears.

3. Click Yes.
