Setting Global Price
Specify the cost of storing and processing data with the Global Price options. You can set Global Price options only for Private Metrics Reporting. Global Price options do not appear in the Chargeback Report on the Cloud Services Portal. Prices set in billing tags override the Global Price setting for the entity specified in the Billing Tag. For more information on billing tags, see Billing Tags.
To set the global pricing for backups and archives in GB, convert the GB value to TB in decimals, using 1 TB= 1024GB. For example, to set the cost for 600 GB: (1/1024)*600= 0.586 TB.

Billing Tags
Billing tags allow you to set costs and discounts for CommCell entities at any level and also for entire storage policies or storage policy copies. For example, you can specify the cost at the storage policy level, or at the client level for all associated subclients, or at the subclient level, just for that particular subclient. Likewise, you could set a cost for a particular agent type. You can also assemble entities into groups, such as a geographical region for customers, or a department for internal users.
For virtual machines, associate billing tags either to the subclient or to each individual virtual machine. When you associate billing tags to the subclient, all virtual machines in the subclient are associated with the billing tag.
For billing tags in each CommServe computer, you can create only entity-based associations or storage policy-based associations. You cannot create both entity-based and storage policy-based associations for billing tags in a single CommServe computer. However, if you have multiple CommServe computers in your CommCell environment, you can use entity-based associations for one, or storage policy-based associations on another.
You can use Billing Tags only if you have a Private Metrics Reporting Server. You cannot set Billing Tags in the Chargeback Report on the Cloud Services Portal.
