SharePoint Online: Installing Index Store, Content Analyzer, and Web Server

If you want to include SharePoint Online for discovery and compliance tasks in Activate, the Activate software packages must be installed on specific computers.

Procedure

1. On the SharePoint Online access node, install the following packages:

   • Web Server package

   • Content Analyzer package

   • SharePoint Agent package (if not installed)

2. On the computer that will be used as the Index Server, install the following packages:

   • Web Server package

   • Index Store package
