Adding Credentials

You can add a DB2 instance using a DB2 user account by selecting the already configured credentials for DB2 user account or define new ones.

Procedure

1. Click the + icon beside the Credentials list.

   The Add Credential dialog box appears.

2. In the Credential name box, enter the credential name of the database user.

3. If you want to enable login with password, enter the following details:

   1. In the DB2 Username box, enter the user name of the DB2 database user account.

   2. In the DB2 Password box, enter the password of the DB2 database user account.

   3. In the Description box, add a description.

4. If you want to enable passwordless login, move the Passwordless Authentication toggle key to right, and enter the following details:

   1. In the DB2 Username box, enter the user name of the DB2 database user account.

   2. In the Description box, enter a description of the credential.

5. Click Save.
