To back up an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure object storage repository, add the repository.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Object storage.
The Object storage page appears.

In the upper-right area of the page, click Add object storage.
The Add object storage dialog box appears.

Click OCI Object Storage.
-
Click Next.
-
Complete the following steps for the guided setup as they appear in Commvault and OCI.

If a backup plan exists, select it under the Use an existing plan dialog box.

If a backup plan does not exist:

Click Next.

Under the access node drop-down menu, select one or more access nodes or the server group.

Add Object Storage

In the Name box, enter a name for object storage.

In Host URL, enter the service account URL.

For Credentials, select existing credentials or create new credentials.

Click Next.

Select Compartment
|

Do one of the following:

To include sub-compartments, select the Include sub-compartments check box.

Select Backup Content
|

Click Add, and do one of the following:

To enter a custom path, click Custom path, and then enter the path for the content.

To browse for content, click Browse, and then select the content.

To exclude some of the content you selected, move the Specify exclusion toggle key to the right, and then add the exclusion.

Click Next.
