Media Management Configuration Parameters

You can use global settings for advanced storage configuration in the Command Center.

Caution

The configuration parameters are for advanced users. Before using global settings, make sure you understand their implications.

Maximum number of parallel data transfer operations for deduplication engine

  • Default Value: 200

    (Note: If CommServe is installed or upgraded from Commvault package earlier than SP2 release, then the default value will appear as 50.)

Maximum number of stream retry count

  • Default Value: 3 times

  • Range: 3 to 30

Maximum size per batch to process managed disk space

  • Default Value: 50000

  • Range: 512 to 1000000

Minimum space (in MB) required over reserve limit on mount path for jobs to run

Number of pre-allocated streams for backup caching enhancement
