Adding Credentials

You can add a DB2 instance using a DB2 user account by selecting the already configured credentials for DB2 user account or define new ones.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client.

2. Right-click DB2, and then click New Instance.

   The instance Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the General tab, click the Credential list, and then click Create New.

   The Add credential dialog box appears.

4. In the Credential name box, enter the credential name of the database user.

5. In the User name box, enter the user name of the DB2 database user account.

6. In the Password box, enter the password of the DB2 database user account.

7. Click OK.
