You can install the CommServe server on a Linux machine. However, some Commvault features require the Web Server to run on a Windows machine, and some features are not supported with a Linux CommServe server.

Push installations of Windows servers from a Linux CommServe server to a Windows server

You can push install to a Windows server using a Windows-based remote cache.
