Setting the Number of Resubmits for a Failed Job

You can set the number of times the Job Manager can automatically resubmit a failed backup job. When the job fails, the Job Manager resubmits the job with a new Job ID. When the resubmit attempts exceed the specified number, and if the job still fails, the Job Manager will stop resubmitting the job automatically.

For example, if you set the resubmit attempts to 5 for a specific job, when the job fails in the first attempt, the Job Manager will resubmit the job with a new Job ID. If the job succeeds in the second attempt , the Job Manager will stop resubmitting the job. However, if the job fails again, the Job Manager will resubmit the job with new Job IDs, until the number of resubmit attempts is reached.
