SQL Server Properties (Cloud Configuration)

Use this dialog box to configure an Azure SQL instance on a SQL server:

Tenant ID

Enter the tenant ID associated with the SQL client.

Log on to the Microsoft Azure portal. Click Azure Active Directory > Properties. The Directory ID value is your tenant ID.

Client ID

Enter the application ID.

Log on to the Microsoft Azure portal. Select Azure Active Directory > App Registrations > application. The Application ID will be listed.

Application Password

The key that was generated when you created the application.

Subscription ID

Enter the subscription ID of your Azure account.

Log on to the Microsoft Azure portal. Click Subscriptions. Select your subscription to view your subscription ID.

Server Admin

Enter the Server Admin user name on your Azure account.

Log on to the Microsoft Azure portal. Click SQL Servers >SQL Server name. The Server Admin user name is listed on the Overview page.

Storage Connection String

Enter the storage connection string needed to access data within an Azure storage account.

Log on to the Microsoft Azure portal. Click Resource groups, and then select the resource group associated with your storage account. In the right pane, select your storage account. From Settings, select Access Keys. The Connection String is your storage connection string.
