To run a MySQL backup operation using XtraBackup utility, configure an existing MySQL instance.
Before You Begin
Install Percona XtraBackup on a client computer that contains the instance on which you want to enable XtraBackup.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Client Computers | client | MySQL.

Right-click the instance for which you want to enable XtraBackup, and then click Properties.
The Properties of MySQL Server dialog box appears.

Select the Enable hot backup check box.

Select XtraBackup.

In the XtraBackup Bin Path box, click Browse to select the folder that contains XtraBackup binaries.

Click OK.
