You can migrate spare mount paths from a spare disk library to a data disk library that requires mount paths using the Spare Mount Path Migration Workflow.
Before You Begin

Download the Spare Mount Path Migration Workflow from the Commvault Store. For more information, see Download Workflows from Commvault Store.

Make sure that spare mount paths are available for migration. If not available, you can create spare mount paths. For more information, see Creating Spare Mount Paths.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, go to Workflows.

Right-click Spare Mount Path Migration Workflow, and click All Tasks > Deploy to deploy the workflow.

Right-click Spare Mount Path MigrationWorkflow again, and click All Tasks > Execute to run the workflow.
The Spare Mount Path Migration Workflow Options dialog box is displayed.

In Run workflow on, select the MediaAgent to run the workflow on, and then click OK.
The Select Data Disk And Spare Disk Library dialog box is displayed.

Enter the following information, and then click Next.

Data Disk Library: Select the data disk library to which the mount paths should be migrated.

Spare Disk Library: Select the spare disk library from which the mount paths should be migrated.
Note: The only spare disk libraries that appear in the Spare Disk Library list are the ones that you created using the Spare Disk Libraries and Mount Path Provisioning Workflow and that are not configured to a storage policy copy.
The Select Spare Mount Path for Migration dialog box is displayed.

In the Spare Mount Paths list, select one or more mount paths to migrate.

Click Finish.
