Perform Post Installation Operations on the New MediaAgent

Post installation operations on the new MediaAgent includes transferring all the associations and configuring the existing Commserver’s MediaAgent to the newly installed MediaAgent on the second instance of the machine.

Procedure

1. Move the DDB to the new MediaAgent.

2. Migrate libraries to the new MediaAgent.

3. Set up the new MediaAgent as a data path.

4. Copy the contents of the index cache directory from the old MediaAgent to the new MediaAgent.

5. Enable job activities.
