Adding Oracle Data Guard Nodes

You can add Oracle Data Guard nodes to the Oracle Data Guard pseudoclient configuration.

A pseudoclient is a logical entity that groups together related subclients, instances, and configurations used for specific data protection operations. It acts as a single logical representation of a distributed or clustered system—such as an Oracle Data Guard configuration—enabling centralized management of all associated nodes under one client object. By consolidating control in this way, the pseudoclient ensures application-consistent backups and coordinated recovery across clustered or multi-node environments.
