Enabling Arlie

You can enable the Arlie AI Assistant in the Command Center.

Before You Begin

• Ensure that the servers hosting the Command Center and Workflow Engine whitelist these URLs:

  • https://cvchatapp.commvault.com/

  • https://apiengineer.commvault.com/

• If the servers hosting the Command Center and Workflow Engine use an HTTP proxy to access the web, then configure the following settings for the servers to ensure that the Commvault AI features can communicate with the AI services:

  • Configure the value of proxyForExternalConnectionsEnabled as True.

  • Add the hostname or IP address of the HTTP proxy to proxyForExternalConnectionsHost.

  • Add the HTTP proxy port to proxyForExternalConnectionsPort.

Procedure

1. On the top right corner of the Command Center screen, click AI assistant .

   The Enable Arlie AI Assistant dialog box appears.

2. Click Yes.

   To the right of the Command Center screen, the Arlie chat box appears.
