The Active Backup Jobs report displays details of all backup jobs that have started within a specified time range. Use this report to monitor active jobs, review their progress, and identify any configuration or scheduling overlaps.
Purpose
This report helps administrators:

Track ongoing backup jobs across multiple CommCells.

Review job status, type, and timing information.

Identify duplicate or overlapping operations across virtual and physical workloads.
Example Use Cases

Monitor active backups: Identify jobs currently running and verify progress.

Validate schedules: Ensure that no overlapping or duplicate jobs are running.

Export job data: Use the CSV export option to share backup job statistics for auditing or capacity planning.
Where to Access the Report
This report is available by default with the Commvault software, and you can view it on the Command Center. Only the administrators can access and share the report to the users. To share the report, go to File > Security.
