You can add a PostgreSQL instance using a PostgreSQL user account by selecting the already configured credentials for PostgreSQL user account or define new ones.

Procedure

Click the Credential list, and then click Create New.
The Add Credential dialog box appears.

From the Account type list, select a database account.

From the Database type list, select PostgreSQL.

Select the AD authentication check box to use Active Directory authentication for database user.
Note
Commvault identifies the authentication type that is selected at the cloud account level to authorize the database user.

In the User Name box, enter a database user.

In the Password box, the password for the database user.

Select the SSL certificate check box to upload a SLL certificate.

In the Description, enter the details about the credential.

Click OK.
