Changing the Port or Socket File for MySQL

From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Client Computers | <Client>| MySQL.

Right-click the <Instance>, and then click Properties.

For Unix, enter the pathname to the socket file. Alternatively, click Browse to select the location.

For Windows, select the TCP/IP port number to open the communication between MySQL server and clients.

Click OK.
