Step 1: Review System Requirements and Considerations

Step 2: Add a Network Share Client
Add a network share client for CIFS shares or NFS exports. For more information, see Creating a Network Share Client for Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale CIFS/NFS Exports.
Step 3: Creating a User-Defined Subclient
Do one of the following:

Create a user-defined subclient for Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale CIFS shares. For more information, see Creating a User-Defined Subclient for Dell EMC Isilon CIFS Shares.

Create a user-defined subclient for Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale NFS shares. For more information, see Creating a User-Defined Subclient for Dell EMC Isilon NFS Exports.
Step 4: Perform a Backup Operation
Perform a backup operation for your subclient. For more information, see Synchronizing and Performing Backups With the Dell EMC Isilon's Changelist Feature.
Step 5: Perform a Restore Operation
Perform network share restores for CIFS shares. For more information, see Network Share Restores for CIFS Shares.
