You can recall archived files from stubs by using the Windows Explorer.
Procedure

Log on to a client computer that has UNC access to the stubs on the file server, or has a mapped network drive to the share.

If you are using a separate computer with Web Console and Web Server installed on it for recalls, make sure that the recall computer is in the same domain as that of the Dell EMC VNX / Celerra file server.

From Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder that contains stubs.

Double-click a stub.
It might take a few minutes for the recovered file to appear.
