Use this dialog box to configure a volume.
Device Name
Unique ID or Mount point that represents the physical volume.
Hostname
Name of the Client machine where the volume resides.
Scratch Pool
Name of the Scratch Volume pool where this volume is located.
Assign
When clicked, assigns the volume to a different scratch pool.
ID Type
The type of physical address used to uniquely identify this volume.
ID
The value of the physical identifier (e.g. WWN)
LUN
Some physical disk devices are divided into sub devices called logical units. Each logical unit is treated as an independent disk device, although several logical units may share the same ID Type/ID pair. Together, the ID Type/ID/LUN represent the unique identity of the physical volume.
LB Offset
The first Logical Block on the disk that is assigned to the volume.
LB Count
The number of logical blocks in the volume.
Block Count
The total amount of blocks on the selected partition or volume.
Block Size
The size measured in bytes of each block on the partition or volume.
Configured Device
Indicates whether a device has been configured as a CXBF device or not. For Windows, all detected devices are set as configured so this field is not displayed.
OS Device Name
This field will be populated for configured devices, and is the path and name of the device in the OS before it was configured as a CXBF device. For Windows, all detected devices are set as configured so this field is not displayed.
Physical Disk Number
Specifies the Physical Disk Number, which is useful for identifying the disk that is used for dynamic drive sharing. This value (e.g., \\?\PhysicalDrive0) is assigned by the Windows operating system. This field applies only to the Windows platform.
