Add Azure Apps to the OneDrive for Business App

You can increase the number of Azure apps based on the number of users associated to the OneDrive for Business app.

To add Azure apps, you can use either the express configuration option or the custom configuration option:

  • Express: The express configuration automates some configuration steps, but it requires you to use the Microsoft login information to authorize the Azure app.

  • Custom: The custom configuration is a manual process. Use this option if you want to enter the app details manually.

Note

  • The Authorize app option (Configuration tab > OneDrive connection settings) redirects to the Microsoft login page, where you grant consent to Azure app permissions. This works if the Azure apps have the redirect URL set to the Commvault Software.

  • You can generate the Azure certificate from the Commvault Software. From the Configuration tab of the app, under the OneDrive connection settings, click the action button actions_button_square_with_dots_horizontal_dark_theme and select Generate certificate.
