Add a server to be the access node for YugabyteDB. For information about supported OS types, refer to system requirements.
Before You Begin

You need the following information:

Host name
-
User name and password
-
OS type
-
Procedure
-
From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.
The Servers page appears.

From the Advanced options list, click Add server.
The Add server dialog box appears.

Select one of the following installation methods:

To install software on the computer, click Install software packages on your computer, and enter the following information:

In the Host name box, type the host name.

Next to OS Type, click the operating system that is installed on the server.

From the Software cache list, select a cache that is accessible to the target node.

If you move Use saved credentials toggle key to right, from the Credential list, select an existing credential or add a new credential. To add a new credential, proceed as follows:

Click the + icon beside the Credentials list.
The Add Credential dialog box appears.

In the Credential vault box, select a credential vault to store, share, and update account credentials with shared resources in your environment.

In the Credential name box, enter the credential name of the database user.

In the User account box, enter the user account that has access to the database server.

In the Password box, enter the password of the database user.

In the Description box, enter a description of the credential.

Click Save.

If you do not use Use saved credentials key, do the following:
- In the User name and Password boxes, type the credentials of the server.

From the Select package(s) list, select NoSQL.

Enter the installation path in the Installation location box.

To reboot the servers in the server group after the installation, move the Reboot if required toggle key to the right.

Select Complete the installation if software packages are already installed on your computer to complete an installation when the software is already installed on the server, and do the following:

In the Host name box, enter the host name.

In the Server name box, enter the name of the server that manages the installation and communicates with the target node.

In the CVD port on server box, enter the port used for communication between the server and the client.

Click Install.
