Adding Credentials for an Azure SQL Managed Instance

When adding an Azure SQL Managed Instance using a new Azure account, you can either select existing, preconfigured Azure credentials, or define new credentials.

Procedure

1. To create new credentials, click + beside the Credentials list.

   The Add credential dialog box appears.

2. Enter the following information:

   • Credential name: Enter a name for the credential.

   • Tenant ID: Enter the tenant ID associated with the Azure account.

   • Application ID: Enter the application ID associated with the tenant.

   • Application secret: Enter the application password.

   • Description: Enter a description of the credential.

3. Click Save.
