Adding a workload resource pool for AI & Analytics

For each region and solution type, you can have only one workload resource pool. You can modify the properties of a workload resource pool.

When a workload resource pool is set up for AI & Analytics in a region, tenant administrators can create an AI application by selecting that region in the hosted infrastructure dropdown and use the access nodes configured in the workload resource pool.

To add workload resource pool, follow these steps:

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Environment > Infrastructure.

  2. Click the Resource pools tile.

    The Resource pools page appears.

  3. On the All tab, in the upper-right area of the page, click Add, and then select Workload.

The Add workload resource pool page appears.

  4. In the Name box, enter a name for the resource pool.

  5. From the Region list, select the region where the AI application data is located.

  6. From the Solution type list, select the vendor name (for example, Snowflake) of the AI & Analytics.

  7. From the Access nodes list, select the access nodes to use for the resource pool.

  8. Click Save.
