The Commvault Console allows you to manage all your SaaS and on-premises environments from a single, unified view. This gives you one place to oversee your data protection and security - simplifying visibility and control across environments.
Features of the Commvault Console include the following:
-
The control plane — centralized visibility, registration, policy, and operations across all environments.
-
Multi-model — works across software Global Command Center, Commvault-hosted SaaS, and uified hybrid deployments.
-
Dedicated per customer — each customer gets their own isolated instance at a unique URL.
-
Built for regulated environments — supports fully self-contained, sovereign deployments.
Supported Models
The Commvault Console supports three separate models, described below.
Software-Based Global Command Center (On-Premises Control Plane)
Global Command Center deployed on a primary CommCell. Manages multiple Service CommCells locally — no cloud or SaaS dependency required.

Commvault-Hosted SaaS Console
Control plane hosted and managed by Commvault. No infrastructure for users to run. Centralizes visibility across SaaS regional tenants — data stays in-region.

Unified Hybrid Control Plane
A single Commvault Console spanning SaaS, on-prem CommCells, and public cloud. One identity, one policy engine, one operational view — across all environments.
