You can monitor triggered alerts for individual service CommCells in the Commvault Console.
Create an Alert
Create the alerts that you want sent to admins and users.

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Monitoring > Alerts.
The Triggered alerts page appears.

On the Alerts definitions tab, in the upper-right area of the page, click Add alert definition.
The Select a CommCell dialog box appears.

From the Select a CommCell list, select a service CommCell, and click OK.
The Add alert definition page appears.

On the General tab, in the Alert name box, type a name for the alert.
Note
The name of the alert must be unique and not follow any generic name conventions.

From the Alert type list, click the type of alert you want to create.
For example, select Backup Job Failed.

For the laptop clients or client groups, if you want to add the alert to the subscription list, move the Subscription-based alert toggle to the right.

If you want to send email notification individually for an alert, move the Send individual notification to the right.

Click Next.

On the Criteria tab, select the criteria for which the alert will be triggered.

Click Next.

On the Entities tab, select the entities to apply the alert to.
Note
The tenant admin can select individual or all servers and server groups.

Click Next.

On the Filters tab, if you want to define alert based on alert tokens, click Add rule group.

Click Add Rule and configure a rule.
For example, JOB ID greater than 1000.
For descriptions of the tokens, see Available Alert Tokens.

Click Next.

On the Notification tab, To change the default information in the alert, on the Template tab, remove or add information that is included in the alert when it is triggered.
Note
If you select Workflow, then you must configure the workflow type.

Under Notification types, select how to notify users when the alert is triggered, and then specify the recipient details.
For example, you can email the alert to a group of users.

Click Save.

Click Submit.
View all Triggered Alerts

From the Commvault Console navigation pane, go to Monitoring > Alerts.
The Triggered alerts table appears, showing triggered alerts across all CommCell environments.

Filter and sort the table as follows:

Use the CommCell list to filter alerts by CommCell.

Use the Severity list to filter alerts by severity.

Sort the table by clicking on the column headers. For example, to sort by severity (from low to high), click the Severity column header. Click it again to sort severity from high to low.

View Alert Details

To view detailed information about the alert, click the alert in the Alert info column.
The Alert details screen appears.
Insert a Note into an Alert
- To insert a note into the alert, click the alert's action button
and then click Note > Insert note.
Delete Alerts

To delete a single alert, click the alert's action button
and then click Delete. -
To delete multiple alerts, select the checkboxes for the alerts, and then click Delete in the upper-right area of the page.
