This document describes the end-to-end procedure to configure Air Gap replication for Commvault HyperScale X environments. The steps cover preparation, network configuration, and enabling Air Gap on the target storage pool.
This procedure involves:
- Any storage pool clusters (production)
- HyperScale X target clusters (air-gapped / bunker)
Complete the following steps to configure Air Gap replication:
- Review the prequisiites.
- Image and register Air Gap HyperScale X nodes
- Configure replication network on Air Gap cluster
- Configure replication network on source cluster
- Create backup networks (data interface pairs)
- Enable Air Gap feature in Command Center
- Create and run replication (Auxiliary Copy) jobs
