Configuring Backup Streams for Object Storage

From the content group's configuration page, you can configure the number of data streams used during backups. You can enable automatic optimization to determine the optimal number of streams based on the object count and data size picked up during the job.

  • For newly created content groups in Innovation Release 11.42 and later, automatic stream optimization is enabled by default.
  • For older content groups, you must manually update this setting from the Configuration tab of the content group's properties page.
