Configuring the Proxy IP Addresses

If the Command Center is behind a proxy or a load balancer, add the IP addresses of the trusted proxies so that the Command Center can correctly identify the original client IP addresses. You can configure the IP allowlist of trusted proxies only at the CommCell level.

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > CommCell.

    The CommCell details page appears.

  2. In the IP allowlist section, beside Trusted proxies, click the Edit button edit button outline grey/gray pencil.

    The Edit trusted proxies dialog box appears.

  3. In the box, enter the IP addresses or CIDR range. You can enter the IP address in IPv4 or IPv6 format.

    Examples:

    • IPv4 format: 10.0.0.1
    • Single IPv6 format: 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334
    • IPv4 CIDR range: 1.1.1.0/24
    • IPV6 CIDR range: 2001:0db8:85a3::/64
    • IPv4 range: 1.1.1.0 – 1.1.1.25
    • IPv6 range: 2001:db8::1 - 2001:db8::ffff
  4. After entering the IP address, click the Add button add/plus button - gray - no border.

  5. Click Save.
