Configuring the rate limiter policy

You can configure a rate limiter policy at the CommCell level, company level, and user group level.

When you add a rate limiter policy at the CommCell level, by default, the policy is applied to each individual company. If a rate limiter policy is applied to a specific company, it overrides the CommCell-level policy for that specific company.

When rate limiter policies are configured at both the company and user group levels, the parameter values defined at the user group level must be lower than those defined at the company level.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to any of the following levels:

   • For the CommCell, go to Manage > Environment > CommCell.

   • For a company, go to Explore > Companies, click the company, and then go to the Overview tab.

   • For a user group, go to Manage > Account > User groups, and then click the user group.

2. In the Rate limiter policies section, click the Add button .

3. In the Request per second box, enter the time in seconds.

4. In the Burst capacity box, enter the time in seconds.

5. Click Save.
