Complete the Microsoft 365 service catalog using the custom configuration option.
Verify That Your Environment Meets the Requirements
Verify the following:
- You must have a SharePoint administrator site URL.
Create the SharePoint Online App

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Service catalog.

On the Microsoft 365 tile, click Configure, and then select SharePoint.

Start the O365 trial or continue to the configuration tool:

If you have never configured an Microsoft 365 app before, the Office 365 configuration tool appears.

Click Start Trial.
The Configure Office 365 message box appears. You must wait while the Commvault software activates the Commvault subscription, creates Office 365 plans, and creates a backup plans for Microsoft 365 backups.

When this process is complete, click Close.

If you have configured an Microsoft 365 app before, the Office 365 Trial message appears.The Region based storage for Office 365 data page appears.

Click Continue.
The Create SharePoint Online app page appears.

On the Region tab, from the Storage region list, select a region, and then click Next.
The Application tab appears.

In the Name box, enter a name for the app.

For Configuration mode, select Custom configuration (Advanced).
If you did not manually register the Azure app with Azure AD, you can use the custom configuration toolkit, which automates the registration process.

In the Azure app area,

To add an existing credential, select the credential from the list.

To add a new credential, click Create new
.The Add credential tool appears. The Account type, Vendor type, Authentication Type, Credential Vault, and Environment fields will be auto-populated.
Provide the below details and then click Save.

Credential name: Provide a unique name for the credential.
For example: CompanyName_SharePoint_APP1.

Application ID: Enter the Azure application ID.

Tenant ID: Enter the Azure tenant ID.

Application secret: Enter the Azure application secret.

Certificate: Upload the Azure certificate (.cer file).
-
Certificate: Provide the Azure certificate (.cer file) password.

Show endpoints: Click the toggle to edit the Authentication endpoint, Storage endpoint, and Resource Management endpoint.

Description: Enter the description for the credentials.

Important
A Conditional Access Policy must be enabled for the selected or newly created Azure app. Without it, you won’t be able to add or create an Azure app. For more information, see Create a Conditional Access Policy for SharePoint Online Azure Apps.

Verify the requirements listed, and then select each of the following check boxes:

The Azure app is authorized from the Azure portal with all the required permissions.

Certificate public key has been added in Azure portal.

Click Create.
The Summary tab appears.

Click Close.

For better job throughput, add at least five Azure apps to the SharePoint Online app. For more information, see Add Azure Apps.
