When users log on to the Command Center, marketing, notification, and security advisory messages are displayed by default. You can disable these messages to help users stay focused on operational tasks or limit them to only those that are most important.
Where Do the Messages Appear

Marketing event notifications: In a pop-up on the center of the screen.

Important notifications: In a pop-up on the center of the screen.

Security advisory alerts: In a drop-down menu that appears after clicking the Alerts button

Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Manage > CommCell.
The CommCell page appears.

In the Settings section, do the following:

To disable marketing related messages, move the Receive Commvault marketing and event notifications toggle key to the left.

To disable important notifications (such as security alerts and bug fix), move the Receive important notifications toggle key to the left.

To disable security advisory alerts, move the Receive Security Advisory Alerts toggle key to the left.
