Editing Snapshot Configuration Properties of the HPE Alletra Storage MP / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 Storage Array

You can modify snapshot properties that control the behavior of the storage array in your environment.

Before You Begin

If the HPE Alletra Storage MP / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 is the backend storage array of the Dell EMC VPLEX storage array, the Remote MediaAgent computer on the backend HPE Alletra Storage MP / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 array is NOT supported.

If you plan to specify a Remote Snap MediaAgent computer, complete the following tasks:

• Verify that the Remote Snap MediaAgent computer has access to the array.

• Verify that the Remote Snap MediaAgent computer and the client computer have the same MediaAgent version installed.

• Select one or more MediaAgents from the Remote Snap MA list in the Snap Configuration tab.

If you are configuring the source array for replication, then type the target array name of the remote array on the Array Id of the target array for replication property.

Procedure

1.. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Environment > Infrastructure.

The Infrastructure page appears.

1. Click Arrays.

2. On the Arrays page, in the Name column, select HPE Alletra Storage MP / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 array.

   The Overview page of the array appears.

3. Under Configuration tab, in the Snap configurations tile, click Edit .

   The Edit configuration dialog box appears.

4. Edit the Snapshot Configuration Properties for HPE Alletra Storage MP / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 storage array.

5. Click Submit.
