Getting Started with the Azure Active Directory Application

Verify that your environment meets the system requirements, configure the Azure Active Directory (AD) application, and then perform a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for Azure AD.

2. Applies only to self-managed deployments: Install the Active Directory agent on the access node on which you want to configure the Azure AD application.

3. Configure the Azure AD application using your global administrator account:

   • Express configuration

   • Custom configuration: Create a Conditional Access policy (mandatory), then complete the custom configuration.

4. Perform a backup.

5. Perform a restore.
