Getting started with Azure Table storage

Getting started with protecting Azure Table storage data with Commvault includes creating an access node, completing the Databases guided setup, and then performing a test backup and restore.

Before You Begin

Ensure that the Allow storage account key access setting is enabled for all storage accounts from which tables will be backed up. To verify this, go to the storage account, then navigate to Settings > Configuration, and confirm that Allow storage account key access is set to Enabled.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for Azure Table Storage.

2. Add an access node.

3. Configure an Azure Table storage instance.

4. Perform a test backup and restore.
