Install File System and Archiver Packages on Archiving Client

Install the File System and Archiver packages on the archiving client computer.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

   The file servers Overview page appears.

2. On the Files tab, in the Actions column for the server, click the action button , and then click Add software.

   The Add software dialog box appears.

3. In the Select Package(s) for field, select File System.

4. For Windows archiving clients, select the MediaAgent package.

5. If you want to perform driver-based recalls from the Windows Explorer, then select the Driver for File Archiver package.

   You can skip this step if you want to perform driverless recalls using the Explorer Plug-In.

6. Click OK.

7. Click Install.
