Install File System and Archiver Packages on Archiving Client

Install the Commvault packages on the archiving client computer.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

   The file servers Overview page appears.

2. On the Files tab, in the Actions column for the server, click the action button , and then click Add software.

   The Add software dialog box appears.

3. In the Select Package(s) for field, select File System.

   • For IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS) and Lustre, install the File System package on your data access node.

   • For Hadoop (HDFS), install the Hadoop package on your data access node.

4. If you want to perform driver-based recalls from the Windows Explorer, then select the Driver for File Archiver package.

5. Click OK.

6. Click Install.
