Overview
Use this section to restore individual mailbox items such as emails, calendar entries, contacts, or tasks from Exchange Online.
You can restore items to their original mailbox, to another mailbox, to an isolated environment for validation. or export them for offline access.
When to use this
Use item-level restore when:
- A specific email or mailbox item is accidentally deleted
- You need to recover a previous version of an item
- You want to restore selected items without affecting the entire mailbox
