Overview
Refer this section to restore a SharePoint Online site or subsite when the site is deleted, corrupted, or needs to be recovered to a previous state.
You can restore a site to its original location, to another location, or to an isolated environment for validation.
When to use this
Use site-level restore when:
- The entire site or subsite is deleted or unavailable
- You need to recover the full structure, including libraries and lists
- You want to restore large portions of content quickly
