- Log on to each recovered VM to verify access.
You can use the source VM credentials. For cloud-based cleanroom sites, you can reset the password in the cloud service provider portal.
Validate applications

Confirm that applications start successfully.

Verify connectivity between application components.

Test key application functionality.

Confirm that the recovery point matches the required point in time.

Run anti-virus or anti-malware scans (for example, Microsoft Windows Defender).
