You can view or monitor the detailed information about the backup and restore jobs of GaussDB (DWS).
Monitoring Instance Level Backup and Restore Jobs

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The database overview page appears.

Select the Instance tab.
The list of instances appears.

To view the backup job history information of an instance, from the Actions column, click the ellipsis icon associated with the respective instance .

Select the Backup history option.
The Job history table appears which displays the Job Information.
Monitoring Backup Set Level Backup and Restore Jobs

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The database overview page appears.

Select the Instance tab.
The list of instances appears.

Select an instance.
The instance page appears.

Click the Backup Sets tab.
The Backup sets table appears.

To view the backup and restore job history information of a backup set, from the Actions column, click the ellipsis icon associated with the respective backup set.

Select the Backup history or Restore History option as per requirement.
The Job history table appears which displays the respective job Information.
Viewing the Job Information
The Job history table on the Jobs tab displays a list of backup and restore jobs that were run for GaussDB (DWS).
The job history table displays the following job Information:

Job ID: The system-generated ID for the backup job.

Operation: The backup job type to run the GaussDB backup operation.

Server: The server that performed the job.
-
Agent type: The agent type that was backed up.

Subclient: The collection of data (subclient) that the software used for the job.

Size: The amount of data that the job is processing or processed during backup.

End: The time the job ended.

Elapsed: The total time the job ran.

Status: The execution status of the backup job status. For example, Completed or Failed.

Error description: The reason the job did not succeed. For example, when the backup job fails, the description provides specific reason and lists the error.

Error code: The error code for job failure.

Actions: The list of operations that you can perform on a job.

Restore: Run the restore operation.

Resubmit: Resubmit the backup job.

View logs: View log information about operation processing details for a backup job.

View failed items: View failed items information about a job.

Send logs: Send log files to analyze and diagnose problems.

View job details: View detailed information about a job.
-
Check readiness: Check whether the entity is ready before you perform a backup operation.
