Use this dialog box to add or edit the details of a NAS file server.
Client Name
Specifies the name of the client computer or application server.
Hostname
Specifies the fully qualified name of the file server.
Backup Type
Network Share
Click to create a Windows or a UNIX network share client.
CIFS
Click to create a network share client with Windows File System Agent.
NFS
Click to create a network share client with Linux File System Agent.
Vendor
Displays the vendor name of the file server.
NDMP
Click to use NDMP backup operations.
NDMP Login
Specifies the NDMP user name to log in to the file server.
NDMP Password
Specifies the password for the NDMP user name.
Listen Port
Specifies the default port socket assignment. You can specify a different port number.
Detect MediaAgent
Lists the MediaAgent computers. By default, the CommServe host is used to connect to the NAS client. If your CommServe host is unable to connect to the file server directly, select a MediaAgent to use to connect to the file server.
Preview
Displays the Vendor information, Firmware revision, and Time zone.
