Add Sharing Folder

Use this dialog box to add the shared library device.

Device Name

Displays a shared device name.

MediaAgent

Specifies the MediaAgent (on the source CommCell) for importing data.

Unix Sharing folder

Select the access path of the shared library for Unix based machine.

Windows Sharing Folder

Select the access path of the shared library for Windows based machine.

Local path

Select this option if the shared library is in local machine.

Network Path

Select this option if the shared library is in network location.

• Connect as

  If you select the UNC path, then provide the access credentials to access the shared library.

  Note

  When specifying a username you need to use the following format:

  • If you are using a domain account: Domain\username

  • If you are using a local filer account: Filer\username

• Password

  Enter the password to access the network shared library

• Verify Password

  Re-enter the password to access the network shared library

• Folder

  Enter or browse to select the shared library folder.
