Adding Additional Mount Paths

You can create additional mount paths for Air Gap Protect.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Storage Resources > Libraries.

2. Right-click the appropriate library, and then click Add Mount Path.

   The Add Mount Path dialog box appears.

3. In the General tab, enter the following information:

   1. In the Name box, specify name of the Air Gap Protect library.

   2. From the MediaAgent list, select the MediaAgent that must be used to access the library.

   3. From the License list, select the license type for the mount path. The license type affects the Storage Class and the data copies that can be made with the Commvault Cloud data.

   4. From the Location list, select a Air Gap Protect location.

      Recommended

      Choose a location nearest to the MediaAgent.

   5. From the Storage Class list, select the appropriate storage class for the mount path.

4. If the MediaAgent accesses the cloud library using a proxy, click Advanced tab, select Proxy Server check box and then enter the proxy server access information.

5. Click OK.

Result

The new mount path appears in the CommCell Browser under Storage Resources > Libraries > library and also under Storage Resources > MediaAgents > MediaAgent > library.
