Adding Dependent Tables to the Oracle Archive

This task applies to the subclient on the production database.

Use this to add the dependent (child) tables of a table that is part of the archive.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Oracle >instance.

2. Right-click the archive_subclient, and then click Properties.

   The Subclient Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the Contents tab:

   1. Select the table from the Archiving Tables box, and then click Add Dependent Table.

      The Archiving Configuration Wizard dialog box appears.

   2. Select the Add Child Tables check box to add all or a subset of the child tables.

   3. Select the Add Archiving Target Parent Tables check box to add all or a subset of the parent tables.

   4. When the child tables are part of the archive, add all their parent tables. Select the Add Parents of Children check box.

   5. Click Next.

   6. Click Finish.

      The Subclient Properties dialog box appears.

4. Click OK.
