Adding or Deleting Data Interface Pairs from Client to Client

You can add or delete data interface pairs from client to client, using XML files that are run from the command line on the CommServe computer.

Procedure

1. Download the SetArchPipeLineListForClientClient.xml file and save it on the CommServe computer where you will run the command.

2. Open the XML file.

3. In the ArchPipeLineList element of the XML file, change the XML parameters.

   Attribute	Description
   operationType	To change the operation type, refer to the following table: Value Operation type 1 Add data interface pair 2 Delete data interface pair 3 Modify data interface pair
   srcClientEntity clientName	Source client name
   client1 name	Source IP address
   destClientEntity clientName	Destination client name
   client2 name	Destination IP address

4. Optional: You can add multiple ArchPipeLineList sections in the XML file to add or delete multiple data interface pairs at same time.

5. From the command line, perform a qlogin.

6. From the <software installation directory>\Base folder, run the following command:

    
   qoperation execute -af downloaded locationSetArchPipeLineListForClientClient.xml
