Adding a vStore in Array Management

To manage a vStore, you must add it in Array Management.

Before You Begin

You must have a physical array in Array Management. See Configuring a vStore on the Commvault Software.

Procedure

1. On the ribbon in the CommCell Console, click the Storage tab, and then click Array Management.

   The Array Management dialog box appears.

2. Click Add.

   The Array Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the General tab, specify the following information:

   1. From the Snap Vendor list, select Huawei.

   2. In the Name box, enter the vStore name.

   3. In the Control Host box, enter the management IP address of the vStore.

   4. In the Credentials area, click Change.

      The Enter the User Name and Password dialog box appears.

   5. Type the credentials of a user who is assigned to vStore administrator role, and then click OK.

      Tip

      Both the username and the password are case sensitive.

4. Click OK.
