Array Software Requirements for OSDP C-Mode

The OSDP feature is deprecated from the Commvault software in V11 SP15.

Use

NetApp C-Mode ONTAP 8.3 or subversions, or ONTAP 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, or 9.5

You must also do the following:

  • Enable the storage virtual machines that are used the with OSDP C-Mode feature with NFS protocol version 3.0.

    Important

    Later versions of NFS are not supported.

  • If you plan to use proxy and client computers to mount snapshots, configure the iSCSI initiator on the client and proxy computers so that these computers can access the snapshot device. If you plan to use only the proxy computer to mount snapshots, you can configure the iSCSI initiator on the proxy only.
